Uno de cada tres europeos nunca ha utilizado Internet y uno de cada cuatro nunca ha tocado un PC, según un estudio de la Unión Europea (UE) que recoge la BBC. El informe, que analiza el panorama digital de los últimos cinco años, constata, además, que más de la mitad de los ciudadanos europeos se han convertido en usuarios habituales de la Red (en 2004 solo eran un tercio), que el 70% de los jóvenes accede cada día y que, de estos, uno de cada tres no pagaría por nada en la Red.

Los marines estadounidenses no podrán conectarse a las redes sociales Facebook o MySpace o la plataforma de comunicación Twitter. Los mandos han prohibido el acceso a estos portales electrónicos al considerar que “podrían revelar información clasificada y comprometer la seguridad del país”, según detalla un comunicado oficial emitido este lunes y que recoge la revista Wired . La restricción durará un año.
